Summer camp offers an outlet to make new friends, learn something new, and create lifelong memories. Don’t let a bleeding disorder keep you from exploring the campground this summer—find a hemophilia camp near you!
As a camper, you’ll:
Make New Friends
Connect with kids, counselors, and clinicians who understand bleeding disorders and face the same challenges as you. People who meet at camp tend to keep in touch over time—and can look forward to reconnecting with friends next summer.
Camp is where kids with bleeding disorders often learn how to self-infuse for the first time. Practicing with peers helps instill self-confidence as you learn the techniques to master this important life skill.
Find Your “Unique”
In school, your uniqueness can get overshadowed by your condition. But at camp, you’re not “the kid with hemophilia.” You’re just a kid. And hanging out with other kids—without having to explain your health history—gives you the freedom to let your personality shine.
